Hi there!

The name's Thinus van Rooyen.

I like to draw stuff, and write about other stuff up to, including and going beyond the abovementioned stuff I draw.

However, I also like motorbiking, reading, writing, judo and a good movie if there's one showing.

Current Residence: Pretoria
Favourite genre of music: Classic Rock/Blues
Favourite photographer: NA
Favourite style of art: just about anything.
Operating System: NA
MP3 player of choice: Walkman
Favourite cartoon character: Prince John ( robin Hood)
Personal Quote: feminism killed chivalry
Interests
  • Listening to: Seether
  • Reading: Earth Afire
  • Watching: The Wire
  • Playing: Guitar
  • Eating: biscuits.
  • Drinking: mainlined caffiene.
So, as it turns out I didn't get my probation extended at the company I was working for.

Meaning I am unemployed. Luckily, I've got a few weeks' rent already paid, which gives me some time to do
so Hail Mary passes.

So, quick question:

Guys, if I were to kickstart a Kickstarter or IndieGoGo for either Sandbox or Brickfinger as a comic series, would yawl be interested?

The way I see it is that I just need money to survive on whilst I draw the pages. Once the pages are done, I'll send a PDF of the comic
to everyone who pitched in. What do you guys think? That comes down to about $ 700-800 a month, per comic.

Think that could work?

Let me know.
